Distillery Reserve Series: Cognac Cask Straight Bourbon (OON)

Each year during the holiday season, we celebrate Texas artists with a special Distillery Reserve Series release where the artist is given our labels as a blank canvas to work with directly. This year, we’ve turned to up-and-coming abstract muralist Kel Brown to produce over a thousand one-of-a-kind labels for our December Cognac Cask Bourbon. As usual the bottles will be magnificent, with the rich layers of Kel’s art echoing the complexity of the spirit within.

Made from 100% Texas grains, this whiskey shares a mashbill with our flagship straight bourbon whiskey, The Musician. It has been aged for over 2 years, and then finished in French cognac barrels for 17 additional months which has made it into something completely unique and unmistakably delicious.  This cask finished bourbon is bottled at 108 proof (54% ABV) and is made up of 70% White Corn, 25% Rye, and 5% Malted Barley.
